Will there be an open bar?

Of course there's gonna be an open bar.
What should I wear?
Semi-formal, with the request for a funky or whimsical twist! You only get married at a castle once, and we want all our guests to experience a bit of the magic, too. Think of adding a fun color or texture!

Are you guys changing your last names?
The brides love their names too much to give them up. Socially, feel free to stick in a hyphen! But if you plan on buying a monogrammed item and need something a bit shorter, let me recommend some ideas to start you off: The Dames, The Royals, The Rascals, etc.
Are we going to be inside or outside?
Weather permitting, the ceremony & cocktail hour will be outdoors, and dinner will be served in the ballroom.
After, we’ll have the chance to spread out: you’ll be able to dance under the stars back in the ceremony space or head inside the ballroom to take advantage of our photobooth!
Is this a kid-friendly event?
We love your kiddos, but we also love to party.
We respectfully ask that you leave the small ones home for the night and fully take advantage of the open bar.
Where should we stay?
A limited number of rooms will be available at Landoll's Mohican Castle. Due to this, we have a room block at the Mohican Lodge. This space is 20 minutes away from the venue & will have organized transportation to and from the event.
There are also a number of additional cabins and AirBnbs in the area that you are welcome to stay at. Please be aware there will not be organized transportation to these spaces.
What about transportation?
If you are staying at the Mohican Lodge, we will have organized transportation to and from the venue!
When it comes to personal transportation, to have the beautiful wooded seclusion of a castle, there are some concessions to be had. Lyft & Uber are not available. There will be parking at the venue if you plan to drive. However, the roads can be quite windy and dark at night, so we recommend taking that into consideration as you make your travel plans
Can I drive home after the reception?
We truly do not reccomend it, even if you don't plan on drinking. The road is quite dark & windy.
